Finally! My 1st post on my blog. Well it has been kinda 'difficult' to start off as my mind gets blank that i don't even know what to blog on, trying to get inspiration. Haha....Oh by the way the word insupire-shon is no other than the word 'inspiration' except for it being in Japanese. Well, I thought it might sound more interesting which i may be right or i may not. ^^

So as for my 1st post, I thought of my favorite pop-group, that i have been listening to a lot lately, New Kids On The Block, or simply NKOTB. The group originated from Boston, Massachusetts, USA and the group consists of Donnie Wahlberg, a familiar face that most fans of the 'Saw' series will be acquainted, the Knight brothers, Jonathan Knight and Jordan Knight ('Say Goodbye' feat Deborah Gibson), Danny Wood and Joey McIntyre. The group was active in 1984 and were a huge success but unfortunately the group disbanded in 1994. Well, after 14 years, fans of the group were bombarded by the rumors of NKOTB reunion and the group officially reunited in 2008. The group released their new album 'The Block' on 2 September 2008 titled 'The Block' (pic) which is the 1 i have that is an 'early christmas' present from Mix.fm. Thanks Mix.fm, you guys really made my day ^^. The album has a collection of great songs and my favorite songs from the album is no other than '2 In The Morning' and 'Summertime' that i got so attached to. This is seriously a good CD and i really will recommend it. The songs are really GOOD! Haha...

The reason i blogged about NKOTB is mainly because something that i just found out recently and it really inspired me. I knew the Knight brothers suffered anxiety, or more precisely panic attacks but i didn't know that i have no idea that panic attacks can be that serious. I found an interview on Oprah that both brothers appeared as guests and it was about the brothers experience of panic attacks. It was then that i realise how dreadful panic attacks can be. Both Jordan and Jonathan Knight suffered panic attacks however Jon has a more serious case. As I watch the interview, i really admire Jon's courage and determination to appear on national television to share his experience of panic attack with the public. At the time he went on the interview, he is still 'fighting' against his anxiety. Well, some might think this is kinda a publicity move, but this is not. Panic attacks can be very difficult for the sufferers and it is not to be taken lightly. It takes a tremendous effort and courage to stand up against it and not everyone is able to do so. I really admire Jon's courage and determination in overcoming his anxiety. This has really inspired me and i felt that it is something that we should learn from.

Well, that's it for my 1st post ^^

Everything written is based on what i felt and it is by best intentions and it meant no harm to anyone.

* All the best to NKOTB *
